Camiguin Action Geckos has a swiss/german management, both are PADI Instructors, and offers Intro Dives and PADI Scuba Dive Courses from beginners up to Assistant Instructor. All courses may be conducted in English, German, French, Filpino and Visayan/Cebuano.
There is a big diversity in the dive sites and marine life of Camiguin Island. Lava formations, coral garden, drop off reefs, steep slopes, walls and sunken sand bars. Rare macro critters, schools of fish, pelagics and shells abound each site.
The dive sites are not only world class quality, but you can also be sure that only a “hand-full” of scuba divers have been here before you. You can see and feel this… under water as well as above.
WHERE PROFESSSIONAL DIVE EDUCATION MEETS SUN AND FUN
White Island
Approximately a kilometer away from the dive center, White Island offers an enchanting black coral garden. An occasional current give the opportunity to see big jacks, snappers and groupers and the fun of a drift dive. Schools of Moorish idol and butterfly fish are abundant. Blue-spotted stingray, ribbon and moray eels, scorpion fish, cowry shells and frogfish are great finds too.

Tangub Bay
Because of its location, Tangub Bay is usually a calm dive. This steep slope provides an interesting dive for macro lovers, ghostpipe fishes, shrimps, porcelain crab and more. Colorful parrotfish, anemone Fish and different variety of shells are some of the regulars of this site. And the occasional visit of the turtle could still be sighted.

Jigdub Shoal
This is like a sunken sandbar. Soft corals, black corals, macro critters, schools of jacks, tunas and the seasonal passing of the Mobulas.

Old Volcano
Divers enter this site thru a narrow channel in between 2 canyons. Once thru, there is a fairly steep drop full of corals and an enormous variety of small, vibrantly colored fishes. The landscape alone is amazing. Formed lava and boulders create overhangs and pinnacles covered with colorful hard and soft corals, giant clams, and oysters. Turtles sweetlips, batfish, jacks, and other big fishes abound this area. Divers who pay particular attention during safety stop may find little surprises, Octopus hidden in the rocks, ghostpipe fish in soft coral, different nudibrances, scorpion fish and other macro creatures.

Canyons
Lava streets with cracks, crevices and channels provide hiding places for eels, shells, scorpion fishes and other macro critters. Though the number of big fishes is less here, the occasional sighting of a big Jack or a Turtle is still noted. The canyons at 5 and 30 meters are a sight full of wonder.

Sunken Cemetery
The cemetery grounds sank in 1871 when Mt. Vulca-an erupted. Now a concrete cross stands on the water as its reminder. Underwater, a beautiful reef has grown and is the host to a healthy marine life; Triggerfish, ribbon and moray eels, blue-spotted stingray, frogfish, and the shy turtle. This site is now a marine sanctuary and is growing abundantly.

Kabila White Beach
Brain corals, gorgonians and a big variety of hard and soft coral provide as a magnificent backdrop for this picturesque site. Cuttlefish, rabbit fish, giant clams and cowry shells are only some of the species that you may find in this beautiful reef.

Mantigue Island Sanctuary
From sandy area to a drop-off bordered by hard corals. The reef is pocked by small and large caves. Healthy reef is host to large schools of tuna, mackerel, rabbit fish, batfish, jacks, harlequin sweetlips, unicorn fish and parrot fish. Eagle rays also hover around this site. Excellent site if you want to see big fishes.

Burias Shoal
This is an exciting drift dive. Mild to strong current makes you feel like flying. Dense Black Coral bushes on white sand are home to schools and interesting fishes. Frogfish, blue-spotted stingray, turtles and big puffer fishes are some of the locals of this sunken island while the big fishes just glide in and out of the big blue.

Coral Garden
A nice and easy site for beginners. A garden of soft and hard coral. It is an interesting site for finding macro creatures. Nudibranches, crabs, anemone fishes, sea cucumbers, squid and lots of colorful fishes.

Punta Kabayo
This interesting site was given its funny name, (which literally means “horse’s point”) because of the odd horse-shaped rock. Underwater, boulders are covered with soft corals giving it an “in bloom” look. A dazzling array of small colored reef fishes, a variety of sweetlips and snappers are some of the fishes that you may encounter.

Punta Christo/Alga
Canyons of different sizes are the formations underwater. A big diversity of marine life exists in this canyon maze. Schools of jacks, batfish, snappers and tuna are the occasional passerby. Turtles, nudibranch, eels, mantis shrimp, angel fish and a lot more make this dive interesting and fun.
